Artist/Designer in Residence Program

Steel House offers a residency program for artists, designers, technologists and scientists. We invite early career professionals to spend one to three months in our studio developing a self initiated project. Residents are invited to collaborate with Steel House members and to utilize the equipment and space. We ask that residents devote four hours per week to Steel House projects. Upon completion of the residency program, participants must have a final exhibition or event in our space. Documentation and images of the work will be shared in Steel House publications and social media.

Internships

Our internship program introduces young people to a range of disciplines from industrial design to letterpress printmaking and computer programming. Working side by side with Steel House members, interns gain experiences and insights into creative and professional practices. Interns range from local high school students to recent college graduates. If you’re interested in joining our team, apply at info@rocklandsteelhouse.com
