Alexis Iammarino is an interdisciplinary artist and educator based in Rockland where she focuses on public and mural arts education and supports a number of year-round community-led arts leadership initiatives. She relocated to Maine after receiving her MA in Community Arts from Maryland Institute College of Art and has been a Steel House member and educator since 2014. She is the Lead Artist and Educator at The Center for Maine Contemporary Art. Recent and ongoing artist collaborations include curating a group exhibition about the history of the hole in the donut and producing a feature-length experimental spaghetti Western for artist Misha Capecchi.
